In my stupid and easily swayed youth I tried shooting hard drugs once. It felt great - I will admit that, but thank goodness I had enough sense to not seek to do it again.

Jan and I hiked around Two Mile Run today - first near the lake and then up into the woods and back down to the lake. Overcast skies. But later this afternoon after I drove Hazel to work it was quite pretty with the sun slanting across the scenery. I did another "long way home drive". I used to be a voracious reader when I was younger. Reading novels constantly. My first husband hated it that I read so much that he actually took my books away and hid them or destroyed them - thought I was ignoring him and reading too much. It was true - I was escaping. After the divorce my reading changed and I started to read "how to" books ( Read more... )

In that pile of damaged photos I was looking through last night I found 3 from even earlier days when I was with Pat and we traveled out to Arizona. As usual I was taking mainly scenery photos instead of photos of people. I really liked these three photos and even though they were with a little 110 camera they turned out pretty good for my purpose ( Read more... )
